I think they did. Everyone in the media had anointed their defense as the best in America and they got gashed pretty much right up the middle at all everything Ray Mauluga (sp?) for close to 200 yards rushing. You can be flat on offense, but no way a good defense gives up that many yards right in their teeth.

The USC board is in meltdown. They're even questioning how good a coach Petey is. I never thought I'd see them questioning what everyone in SEC country already knew. They even want our coaching staff.

Penn State 45, Oregon State 14 (it was 45-7 before the dogs were called off).

USC drops to at least #10.

This was not just a bad game. This is a team with some serious holes.

So...how bad does Ohio St. look now? Ohio St. should drop again this week, even with a win.

Come on, there is no love that could put them as high as 5.

    OU
    GA
    FLA
    LSU/Missouri
    USC??????
    Missouri/LSU

    No way in hell.

I project them to about 11 or 12. I could see them being as high as 8, undeservedly. I sure as hell hope not.

Two major observations from that game.

    1) USC played with zero passion and Oregon St. wanted the win B A D.

    2) The USC coaches S U C K.

Pete Carroll is a master recruiter and average coach at best. He owes his fortune to his ability to somehow sweet-talk top athletes into attending USC in groves.

He's played cupcakes his entire career there and cruised along on the talented athletes NOT coaching.

LSU would make USC into Mrs. LSU.

And I was thinking that Ore. St. was going to need some of that PNW rain to even have a chance at winning this. But no, the field conditions appeared to be perfect. Man, USC really farked up. I agree, they should drop out of the top-10 and we shouldn't have to hear from them for awhile.

    Well I thought they wouldn't lose a game...boy was I wrong.

I don't won't to hear chit about Pete Carroll being a great coach again. There is no way they should have lost this game it was 100% on coaching! USC fans can STFU!

No excuses about injured players this year, just bendover and take it like a man.
