You should have heard the fans today on the Knoxville sportstalk shows! I seriously thought that some were going to cry their eyes out. They were blaming Skip, Les, Mike Slive....the looting dude, you name it! I called them up and asked when the hell they wanted to play it, and they are actually wanting to cancel the game or have US drop the N. Texas make-up since that fits their schedule better!!! There is something to be said for overcoming adversity. Tennessee Volunteers used to be my second favorite team. I get to workout with their S & C coach (a Baton Rougean) at the football facility; meet the players (they're likeable) and other coaches. I have been so disappointed in the poor public relations this week. Life happens to all of us. Complaining and nitpicking to the media is not what inspires people. That is not what inspires people. Coach Fulmer has made some serious errors and he will have to pay...starting Monday.
