None of the “Mikes” have been neutered. Neutering is generally done for two reasons: 1) to eliminate objectionable behaviors such as urine spraying, fighting, roaming, etc.; and 2) to prevent birth of unwanted litters. Because Mike lives alone, these problem behaviors do not occur. Also, surgical procedures require the use of anesthetics, which always represent a risk to the animal’s life. We are very conservative in what we do with Mike so as not to place him at risk unless the need for medical intervention justifies the risk.

I say put up a 10 ft. fence around the field and let him go. MIght be a little hard to get him into the cage for games though.

ok we'll do that. If you'll stand on the other side on the fence holding a side of beef to make sure he can't get over it. :grin:

Sounds good, but I for one wouldn't want to be tackled in a pile of tiger crap. Then again, it might help with our fg kicking. Homemade tees laying around everywhere.
