I inflict serious harm on the tomatoes and then I drink their beer.

My weim, Boo, likes grapes. However, I've recently quit letting her eat them after the bad news that they are harmful to dogs.

As far as fresh tomatoes go. Try a big huge slice of fresh tomato on a tuna fish sandwich. It is excellent.

    Love fresh home grown tomatoes.

good call on the tuna. i have tuna salad in the fridge. i think i know whats for lunch tomorrow.

tonight i chopped up a few large tomatoes and heated them in some olive oil with chopped garlic and lots of fresh shredded basil. tossed in some penne pasta and topped with parmesan. that was some goooooood eatin!

I just noticed tomatoes was spelled tomaters in the thread title.

The beer made me find it.

    That is all.

not a lot of tomatoes from my tiny garden. i planted them so late not a lot set on before the hot weather hit. but i am getting enough for sandwiches and a pasta dish here and there.

but i got a haul of other stuff from my dad's garden again today. all the usuals plus fresh black eyed peas, cantelope, and watermelon.

ya just cant go wrong with fresh picked fruits and veggies!
