I have no problem with abortion. I do prefer it to be a state's right issue though, and I think minors should have to have the consent of their parents.

Yeah, that's my problem with the bill. I also think that minors should have a parent's consent. They would need it for any other medical procedure, why not abortions?

The partial birth stuff is alot of hype. That is a rare last ditch procedure where there is an extreme emergency to the health of the mother; usually when the fetus is deformed or otherwise unable to be extracted.

Hospitals shouldn't be required or forced to provide abortions unless they are given Federal funding.

As far as waiting periods and alternative information... The decision is hard enough on a woman. Why have her be forced to endure nagging and guilt from pro-life organizations, who don't really give two ****s about what happens to the baby once born?

This is a little off subject but I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that read "The road to hell is paved with liberals." That wasn't unusual as I see things like that all the time on both sides.

The funny part is this guy had a full-size poster taped to his tailgate that read...GO TO HELL PELOSI!

I think more conservatives are worried about Pelosi and Reid more than Obama. I agree...they're already well on their way in destroying this country. Behind the scenes, I believe they feel they run the country and Obama is just a figure head. Reid already made the comment that he doesn't work for Obama. Here comes the power struggle.

If you want an abortion and it's your right...then pay for it. I don't want to. If two people were completely irresponsible why do I now have to be responsible and pay for it?

I don't have the stats but I would guess that 90%+ of all abortions have absolutely nothing to do with the health of the mother.

This bill is a steaming pile of shiit. I cant see it passing as written. A minor cant even have a pi$$ test without parental consent but can have an abortion in this bill without it? :insane:

If Obama kills as many terrorists as he will innocent babies, we'll be O.K. from a security standpoint.

Yeah, the kids probably wouldn't succeed when they're born and grow up, so we should just nip it in the bud and deny them the chance at life.

I have 2 family members who are in medical school. One in Shreveport and the other in N.O.

Most of the students are very worried about this because they will be required to have experience in aborting babies while in school or they will never be an MD.
