I have numerous LSU prints, mostly panorama's that I want to get matted and framed. Anyone in the Shreveport/ Bossier, or surrounding area that knows of a fairly priced place to get them done?

I've been to a few places and it seems getting pictures framed is close to highway robbery.

I know an artist who frames her own pictures because it costs too much to pay for. Maybe you could find a starving artist to do it cheap

That would be ideal. I wish I knew how to do it myself, it'd be a hell of a lot easier. I have around a dozen or so pieces I need to get done.

Do you have a hobby lobby or garden ridge there?

Can't help you on the framing but I have someone picking up some hot sauce for you tomorrow. They're bringing it to me since they're coming my way. I'll try to get by the post office in the next week and get it to you.

Heard an advertisement about getting stuff framed through the mail. The two women who run the place we're starving artists who couldn't afford to get their stuff framed. I think maybe it was an infomercial. Anyway you call them and they send you mailing tubes to put your stuff in and send it back to them and then they frame it and send it to you. I think they even have some sort of online tool where you can see what your stuff is going to look like in different kinds of frames and whatnot. Ill ness around on Google when I get home and see if I can find a link.
