Snipet from story in SI Online: "The Irish (10-2) are 0-2 this season against teams ranked in the top 10, losing 47-21 to Michigan in the third game of the season and 44-24 to USC in the regular-season finale. The Irish rank 45th nationally in total defense, giving up an average of 320 yards a game -- the lowest-rated defense among BCS teams. But that's only slightly worse than Louisville, which is 40th at 315 yards a game. The problem for the Irish, though, is LSU is third in the nation in total defense, giving up just 239 yards a game."
I hope everyone starts picking against Notre Dame. There's no better motovation than being the underdog.
Some dude w/ a Greek name (Petros Petronokis or something like that) was on a BCS Bowl special show. It was 30 minutes of breaking down the Sugarbowl. He got on there and just started talking out his a$$. First he said we have no rushing game. Then he said the only rushing we really have is JaMarcus Russell and that he is just like "Vince Young". Then he said we played Arkansas in Fayetteville...we actually played them in Little Rock. Then he said Notre Dame wins b/c our defense can't stop them. I was so disgusted that they gave this guy airtime. He clearly has no clue what he was talking about. Like ya'll said ealier....saying that ND will win is one thing....but back it up w/ some facts...not B.S. What a joke.o:
