That's 10 FF semifinal losses in a row for LSU. Not my fault. I've seen every one of them and I honestly don't think we've been in any one of them, in the sense that it's always over long before the final buzzer. The men played Indiana (with Isaiah Thomas) close for a half but a lid covered our bucket in the 2nd half and the Hoosiers won going away. Louisville and Darrell Griffith put a whuppin on us once and Bobby Knight slammed a phone on the scorers table scaring the refs so bad that we never got another call. Of course there was UCLA last year and the women always seem to save their worst for the 1st weekend in April. This Lady Tiger team was all Juniors in the starting 5, so there's hope, I guess.
There may a little hope, but consider this . . . the Rutgers team that embarrassed LSU is as young or younger than the Lady Tigers . . . few if any Seniors on the Rutgers team.
