This would seem like the perfect time for CBS to create their own Game Day type show. They will be able to pick the best game to set up shop because ESPN will be busy trying to build there brand.

Problem is ABC and ESPN have deals with most of the conferences......ABC has 1st right refusal with these other conferences. CBS has the SEC and that's about it.

So if they want to create their own SEC Gameday deal that's cool but that's pretty much all they'll have.

ABC/ESPN can go to the Pac-10, Big 12, Big 10, ACC to get their games.

I like Fowler. Even Kirk's like remark "we expected to be at auburn" wasn't anywhere near as blunt, foward, and truthful as Fowler. He just gained more of my respect.

ABC trying to make themselves big in College football is really ruining it for us.

Seems to much like a monopoly to me. It's amazing how much control ABC and ESPN has over college football. I can't believe they let Fowler write that article and it seems like he's feeling exactly what we've been saying.

Those are rights to broadcast games, but not to broadcast from campuses around the country.

Chris Fowler could have saved a lot of words and his time by simply saying, "We're here to pimp whatever ABC/Disney can make money off of."

I think that would be a great idea. I would love to see and support a CBS Gameday Program and Clue. For the simple reason of bring more National Attention to LSU and the other deservings SEC schools.

With all the USC rule breaking talk being thrown around kind of makes you wonder if ESPN got wind of it and that 'HELPED' in their choice to go to LA this weekend.

wouldn't it work the same as when Gameday was in BR for the GA game? CBS televised it, but ESPN was still there. CBS could go wherever they wanted.

ESPN is just sucking up to the SEC fans to get us to watch gameday. They won't be here anytime this year.
