Well I have a little more respect for Trevot Mattich after that. He's right you know.

Yes he is, but we all saw with our own eyes what doomed LF7, fair or not. You just aren't going to see many Heisman winners coming from a team that catastrophically collapsed at the end of the season. Especially if his team is considered a major power.

If ur a Bama fan you wouldn't be able to count to ten and would have to go to family reunions to pick up chicks. I hate Gump muthafuckers.

I know this won't be popular. I'm not even saying my perception described below is accurate but I was not surprised he wasn't invited. He has the stats, sure. Problem is he didn't pass the eye test with me for the end of the season.

Part of that is because he was SO exciting to watch at the beginning of the season just TRUCKING defenders. As our level of play went to crap, I say his production follow suit. He became a whiner about some valid things to gripe about but I saw it too much and it gave me the impression of a sore sport. Now understand, I find LF to be a class act in every situation he's been in front of a mic- in fact Miles could learn a lot from him. BUT, seeing that complaining and with the frequency I saw it; coupled with losing, it wasn't a pretty picture I saw. Just wasn't Heisman behavior imo.

this is all complete nonsense. he was not invited because LSU sucked in the meat of their schedule. as did LF. He would have won if he had a good game vs Bama and we won. he could have been average after that. But LSU had to win more than they lost during those 3 games.

this is also a team award which is won in november. LF is an exemplary example of a good guy on and off the field. the stuff you mentioned not one voter would even know what you were referencing. neither do I. much less enough to affect voting.

I couldn't disagree more. As much as his coach, his offensive line and his QB screwed his eyes out I would have liked to see him step up and be more vocal about their poor play\coaching. I didn't hear him whine or complain at all. His play looked diminished because they had no passing game and his OL fell apart against tougher competition. Had the blocking held up we wouldn't be having this conversation.
