not sure what you're speaking of, we lost 4 games last year and our defense was abysmal, giving up 112 points...and gave up another 31 points to Notre Dame in the bowl game in our 5th loss 2013 = 3 losses, 109 points 2012 was our last really good defense in which we lost only twice, 14-6, 21-17....could have been a "special" season with just a bit more offense so your point was well taken, since 2012 we have suffered more losses than we had been averaging and it has all to do with the defense and special teams not covering up for the utter ineptitude of Les Miles and his offense....same thing in 2008 If we don't fire Steele (and we won't), we will suffer a similar fate and have more than likely 4 or 5 losses and lose our very first OOC game vs Wisconsin to open the season. The last bastion of glory for ole Les (the undefeated OOC streak).
I'm sure the pumpers will come up with another catchy derivative. Maybe most wins during a waning crescent.
The same 3 teams you lost to this year you gave up 44 points to them last year as opposed to 99 this year.( I know you went 8-5 last year I was just speaking on the 3 losses you guys had this year comparing them to last year) Sure up the defense and they ST and you guys will be fine. I think Chvis slacked off recruiting the last 2 years for LSU because he knew he was leaving about mid way through the 2014 season. LSU didn't have a great offense in 2011. ST and Defense they dominated in. ST scored for them a lot and the defense scored and made very short fields for the LSU offense to score on.
Yeah you're not telling us anything we don't already know. We're inept on offense and our defense and special teams better sure damn save us.
I would still like to point out that LF7 had more yards with less games than Henry but who is the favorite for the Heisman?
Memories are short and he did not have his best games in November. The Heisman is given to the guys who delived in the tough games. Blame it on coaching, injuries, or whatever. No one wins a trophey against Western Kentucky and Syracuse.
