1. Attrition is normal. There are always a few academic casualties, a couple of transfers for more PT, and some just quit football for various reasons. It's the early-exit NFL draftees that hurt. On the other hand, coaches (including Miles) rarely have to pull a scholarship to meet the 85 anymore. They mostly have extras to give to hardworking walk-ons, which is a good thing.

  3. Correct, he's going to East Miss. CC for a year. Tommy Minton tells me LP has already been told by the Chief that he'll be welcomed back if he gets the grades up.

  7. Does ugly run in both sides of the family? If you're the only good looking one it could be attributable to a postal carrier or meter reader. I am relieved that you don't suffer from auburnism, it is so sad watching them attempt to legitimize it.
  8. This paragraph from the link in the OP is for everyone that has never been to Scooba, MS. Anyone who has ever been there, knew this before Lorenzo Phillips.
  9. @bhelmLSU What would be your guess as to the number of guys on scholly headed into signing day?
  10. I wonder about the situation with Phillips; feel sorry for him. He's got a tough row to hoe to get back to Baton Rouge. A REAL tough row...
