I think Brett is just trying to hide my newly replaced Fast Reply button from me. :D

So I assume you keep your browser window smaller than 1024 wide?

I don't know what it is but I HAVE to have my current window maximized. Drives me crazy when I see one that isn't. I think people that use Macs a lot tend to leave windows floating while Windows users tend to maximize although I see by your screenshot that you are breaking that trend. A little nerd trivia for everyone.

The forum should fit perfectly for anyone using 1024 resolution or larger. Using 22 and 24" monitors I found the forum stretching much too wide. Of course one could always adjust the browser window but that would involve not having it maximized

I'm going to try my best to have fixed and fluid options so everyone can be happy it just depends on our developer and if he can make it play nice with everything else.

Pretty much Brett. Since windescreen monitors have become widely available, I have always run apps in smaller windows with a defined space. Rarely do i ever maximize anything. It's a waste of valuable desktop space to me.

Of course, it becomes a habit and I now do it on computers with very little running, such as the test box my screenshot is from.

I checked, I have 16 windows open on my Mac, but it's a 30-inch monitor.

1 window open on my 24" and I leave the other 24" open in case I want to look at one of the 12 less important apps sitting in my taskbar.

Pretty sure just about everyone does. What's that got to do with fixed forum size though? :)

This latest change made it even worse on the iPhone. About 1/4 of the screen on the right is just purple.

My mistake, that was just this thread where grad's picture is bigger than the rest of the forum, which pushed everything over so that the picture fit.
