    So special teams has gone from a coach's/coordinator role to that of a consultant? Who "coaches" special teams during the game on the sidelines?

  5. Supposedly Les kept him as a coach because he could recruit.
  6. The Saints are perennial sucky teams to begin with but I read Macmahon had a lot of success in the coverage dept. That's a glaring need with our team.
  7. That would be about his speed to keep a coach "just because" in a dept that was bar none, his strength.
  8. Waiting on the NCDoubleA to install the 10th coach rule. We are maxed at 9, till then.

  9. I assume O gave him a commitment that he would be named the ST coach when the 10 position is implemented in April. Otherwise, why would he take a non coaching, analyst/consultant position?
