Former LSU football players arrested (Tyrann Mathieu, Jefferson, Hatcher, Bryant)

I feel sorry for Mr matheiu.

Marijuana laws in this country are disgusting. I think he did nothing wrong.

I got nailed for paraphanelia possesion and had to pay thousands in attorneys and fines. Makes zero sense.

I hope he beats the charge. Fuck the drug war.

What's that got to do with anything? I'm talking about the simple nature of the crime of which they are accused as compared with the harshness of the terms that Lasalle cited. No one throws around the term "thug" and starts talking about Angola when white dudes get busted for weed. What's realistic about that? It's just indicative of an ignorant mindset, both to black people and to pot.

 

I would love to smoke a joint with Mr Mathieu and Jordan Jefferson. How cool would that be?

Maybe they would talk about what went wrong 1/9....

 

I think that's the only way I could hang out with Jordan Jefferson, is to get stoned with him, he may have been a very average at best quarterback, but he was still a great athlete and he could definitely kick my ass, so I would need him stoned to convince him he should have played linebacker.

 

Btw I don't know if it was specified in the original article, but it was a simple possession charge, which is nothing, 4 people, what if the weed belonged to the guy (bryant) who is the one charged with possession and intent, and drug paraph... So now it's plastered all over the news in an attempt to make this dude look like a horrible person because he was hanging with his former teammates.

 

You would think that LSU students and fans would be the LAST people to bring marijuana anywhere NEAR the Honey Badger this year

And three guys that were SENIORS on the team last year bring TEN BAGS over to TM7's place?!?!

I agree that weed should be legal. I wont get into all that stuff here. Whatever BS it is, its illegal. TM7 has a ton of potential. He was on a road to making amends, possibly getting back on the team or at last earning a shot elsewhere. Add to that he could have helped his draft stock. Once your career is over smoke all the damn weed you want. He did a very stupid thing. He blew his shot. He gets what he deserves. He had far more chances than the avg person on the street. I dont feel the least sorry for him.

Whether they are on the team or not this is yet another embarressing stain on the LSU program. Over the last few years we have been hit by a few too many of these types of incidents. Its time for Miles and staff to tighten things up. I know a coach can only do so much and they cant watch over a kid 24/7. Still, there have been too many incidents like this recently for my liking.

 

Hopefully it won't be, since the incident involves former players. Gotta focus on the task at hand.
