    It's bringing negative publicity to LSU--regardless of the fact that these guys are ex-players. It's what the media will do with the story that is an embarrassment. On the heels of the SI article last week, this occurs. I don't think our program is "one of the worst." But the media will make it sound that way.

    Kids like paraphernalia. When I was in college, I had a marijuana gin that would separate seeds from shake. No matter that I could strip a bud with my fingers in my sleep faster than the gadget, i thought it was cool. Hell I had a joint rolling machine in high school. I could roll a joint that looked like a Camel.

    Yep. Opponents recruiters will be showing this to our recruits parents and telling them that LSU is no place to send their sons.

    Agree. I root for the kids in the uniforms. Once they move on, best of luck to them but its their life. I did buy into the Mathieu going through rehab and reprioritizing his life with the help of his family. Its obvious that LSU is not the place for him. Too many influences to bring him back to where he was.

    Where did you hear the 18 grams number? How do you charge three people with possession for that little weed and a fourth with intent for that small amount of weed? If that number is accurate I am enraged.

    Side note regarding the 3 ex-player ex-students....a 4 year scholarship should come with a bus ticket out of town at the end.

    Merely having it in two seperate bags will give the po-po all they need to add the 'intent" charge, making the actual amount irrelevant.
