Like when Greg Norman was the leader in the clubhouse in a major, I forget which one. Bob Tway holed out from a bunker to win. Headline the next day was "Tway twiumphs fwom twap."
How old were you when you made your first? https://twitter.com/PGAjrLeague/status/1158442090185068544
@COTiger if your health prevents you from playing golf there are several realistic video golf games in 3D. Some of them let you play some of the world's great courses against the greats of the game, past and present. Just imagine stand on the 18th green at Augusta National with a tricky putt to break a tie with Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus. Or playing head to head with Ben Hogan at St Andrews.
I had already made a number of hole in ones but my favorite was when I was 14 on the always treacherous windmill hole at Putt Putt. No matter how I tried to time my stroke the ball would hit the windmill blade more often than not.
It was the 1986 PGA Championship. Norman wasn't in the clubhouse. He was paired with Tway. Norman started the day with a 4 shot lead and well, you know the rest of the story.
39, made the second one 24 years later (2005). Then one in 2007, 2008 and 2016. Made a ton of eagles holing out from the fairway on par 4s and 5s and one holing a bunker shot.
