What a way to make a living. Toms is 52 and was already more than set for life. Don't know how much he is making now but I'm sure it must be some very serious cheese compared to the average working Joe. And he is still playing lobg after every single athlete his age in every other sport has long since retired.
He's won a little over a million this year on the Champions tour. Don't know how much he won today in the regular Tour tournament.
He finished in a tie for 29th. Besides his tour winnings I sure he has some lucrative endorsements and I have heard the he has designed a few golf courses.
I'm not sure that he has any national endorsements. At least I haven't seen any that I can recall. The linked article outlines his design work. https://www.golfdigest.com/story/golf-mytown-david-toms
The University Club is where the LSU golf team practice and holds their home tournaments. I'm sure it must be a much better course than the one on campus. I've never played there. You have to live in the subdivision or be a member. I've heard commercials on the radio for memberships and I don''t remember how much but it seemed reasonable. Still too much for me unless I was a serious golfer. If you or Shane or TerryP lived here y'all would probably join.
BB's question was"does a major champion get a lifetime exemption to ALL major championships?" As you are aware the answer is no.
