I don't know that I would write him off just yet. Prepping for the Masters this year took quite a bit out of him. He will tailor his schedule next year around the majors. I would probably expect him to play around 12 tournaments. As long as his back holds up he can still play. And he's the best conditioned golfer on Tour.
There would be a helicopter there if Tiger chartered one. How far is the aircraft from the golf course?
Those are words you may have to eat. This course and the weather conditions are not favorable for him. Deep rough, crazy lies and cool/cold conditions have to be hard on his back. When he gets the right conditions I think he can still be a factor. Like him or not, golf is a lot better when he's playing and in contention.
I think I heard them say temps were in the 60s. He's got an early tee time tomorrow AM. If the weather is cool, rainy, and windy it could influence his game. He's only going to play one more round. I don't know that he will play much more golf this year unless he makes the President Cup team.
Pretty good article on Tiger assessing his game & his physical condition. ttps://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/27217029/tiger-gives-grim-view-physical-woes-78
