I got a ride in a T-38 as a result of winning an Airman of the Quarter award early in my career. I also rode on several models of the C-130. Spent lots of hours on C-5s & 141s. The highlight of one of my Fat Albert rides was being able to spend some time in the cockpit in the jump seat on a long flight back from Thule. Thanks for your service. Did you spend any time flying commercially?
On the Scotland trip we got to the "Road Hole" (#17) and on the tee one of the guys said he was only 6 over par and had a chance to break 80. Proceeds to put two balls into the hotel and on 18 put two more balls in the car park to the right, Didn't break 90! While playing Carnoustie we came up with a rule we called it the "Scotland Rule." The rule was you could not say "good shot" until the ball stopped rolling.
From Google: The minimum nightly fee at either The Lodge at Pebble Beach, Casa Palmero or The Inn at Spanish Bay is $670. So, the minimum cost to get on Pebble Beach is actually $1,835, and that's before a caddie or cart.Feb 14, 2016 Who knows how much it is today.
Same to you. Didn't fly commercial, got hired as an Air Reserve Technician. Had 5 years on active duty and almost 25 as a technician before retiring.
Nah, he broke the cardinal rule of golf in projecting his finish. That's blasphamy to the golf gods, they took their revenge out on him.
Your post is the first time I've hear of the ART position. Were you able to fly in your ART position?
