Probably for the same reason as me. You have spent a lot more time in your life developing your fish catching and shooting skills than you have playing golf.
Oh they are, and that is the posted speed so Im betting they are actually faster. I will take a picture of the board next time I play.
Is it a public or private course? If it's public it's impossible for a greens keeping staff to maintain the greens at that speed. They don't have the money. And btw I don't care what the sign says.
Prestigous clubs that hold majors rarely maintain their greens at that speed. Particularly during the summer. You must be paying a hell of an amount. I'm still skeptical.
Its not that much actually and I can assure you EVERYONE is bitching about them so yes, be skeptical all you want but they are what they are. Good to know that on top of being a retired gigolo, a football star and know it all, and a world class fighter pilot that we can add golf pro to your list of accomplishments.
