A few examples are the way water is distributed to Jewish neighborhoods at about ten times the per capita rate its distributed to non-Jewish neighborhoods, non-Jews can't own land and non-Jews have special car plates that distinguish them as not being a Jew.

I understand and I agree for the most part. The key word here is "usually", and it applies to both sides..

Usually Israel targets militants and hits civilians by accident which is collateral damage. But sometimes Israel hits civilians and no militants are present and it is a technical error or human irresponsibility when the presence of civilians are known. In the incident in question, The Israelis admitted they bombed on a suspicion. Not on knowledge, intelligence, evidence, facts, or even suggestions that Hezbollah was present. In fact there was an acknowledged communication from the Lebanese Army that it WAS a protected civilian convoy.

Hezbollah, too. Their rain of rockets on civilians in Israel is a war crime, pure and simple. Obviously they intended to attack civilians and this is their usual pattern. But not always. In the incident that started this war, Hezbollah infiltrated and attacked Israeli military forces, killing and capturing several. Civilians were not attacked and the Israeli soldiers should not have been caught with their pants down.

I'm just saying that the moral lines are not drawn so neatly as some have suggested, especially in a shooting war between people that hate each other intensely.

the thing is, there is no high road to take in war. You can TRY but when it comes down to survival the first thing out the window is geneva convention.

Hitler and his regime would have never been accused of war crimes, if they had won the war. At least not publiclly/officially.

while that doesn't make it right, or excuse it, it does shed some light on it. right or wrong everyone has survival instinct.

I am sure hezbollah thinks they are in a war of survival, they have themselves convinced the Israelis want them all dead, and at this point that is probably true.

Regardless of what israel has done, right, wrong, grey, etcc They are not terrorists. The Mosaid used some very questionable tactics years ago and probably still do, but I am of the opinion it is warranted.

matter of fact I think they should take the leash off our boys. Quit trying to take the high road, in 500 years no one will care, the world will be a better place without these thugs.

maybe that seems a bit calouse but again, the Lord told the isralites to kill every living creature down to the last goat, in the Old testament. There was a purpose in this. it was not done. War isn't pretty.
those japanese kids studying in school that morning the big one fell on them back in WW2 were innocent enough. Who hands is their blood on? Truman's? the US? the japanese emporer?

War isnt pretty, good people get killed on both sides. It's inevitable. All we can do is try not to get snuffed ourselves.

The people of lebanon may never realize that they are reaping the benifit of being friendly to terrorists. Some may say they had no choice, but there is always a choice. if you choose to do nothing, that is a choice. maybe they allow hezbollah and others to operate in their country because they are too scared to stand up and say no more.

Kind of like the citizens of memphis about crime. Until some one stands up, yells calf rope, organizes police and government, and is willing to fight and die for the cause, thugs like hezbollah and criminals in memphis will continue to do as they please. Until they get to Israel.

If the non-Jewish neighborhoods (also know as palestinian controlled areas) wanted equal treatment, they could have it. They choose to live the way they do.

As far as the car plates, to be completely honest with you, I never noticed it. I've rode around with non-Jews over there and never seen a difference in their plates. There may be, I just haven't noticed them. Of course if the muslims were to stop padding their cars with explosives, there would be no need to differentiate between them and the Jews. How many Jews have blown themselves up trying to kill muslims?

As far as land ownership goes, that's crap. I've met several muslims that own rental properties over there.

That's been tried brother. They don't want their own country. They, along with the rest of the middle east, want Israel.

So get our guys in Vegas to create a replica, plop it in Oman or something and give it to 'em. These people have not shown themselves to be the brightest bulbs in pack.

It would likely be easier to convince the Jews to move to Wyoming. :hihi:
