For those that think OU should be in this game

Super Bowl winner doesn't have to be a conf. champ.
World Series winner doesn't have to win their conference championship.
NCAA Basketball Champ doesn't have to win their conference.
Colege World Series winner doesn't have to win their conefrence.
I'm sure there's more.
But, If OU wins the NCAA Football Championship tommorrow night, by following the system put in place to get them there, people are gonna bitch and moan.

Correct me if I'm mistaken,
I was thinking that beating Georgia in the SECCG combined with
thier sos dropping by ND and Hawaii put us in the Sugar

same with baseball
Basketball is a totally different playoff format

You can't compare basketball or baseball.
Those teams can play everyday, football teams can't

If you read the beginning of my thread you would then understand.

OU deserves to be #1 if they beat us under the current system.

all the sports you listed have playoffs, college football doesn't

 

right but whether we won or lost to georgia, our sos would be the basically the same, but obviously if we lost our record would have prevented us from making it. our sos is not affected by whether we win or lose.

so playing GA helped our SOS, winning or losing doesnt matter for sos. we would have had a better sos than usc even if we were 0-11.

You are forgetting OU was in. lsu and the condoms were fighting for the other spot. You just can't accept that can you? That's too bad! But, it's the truth. We were in, you were out. The fact is, you didn't even think you were going to get there. You thought usc was. However, your sos was slightly stronger than theirs and was enough to put your sorru *ss in the game. So, now play it and play it hard. Play it like you deserved to be there. Then congratulate the winner (whomever that is) and enjoy life.
