Elite status?? I'm not sure that we had "elite" status, or, furthermore, that we aren't "elite" anymore because we lost twice. If it is that easy to change from elite to not-elite then "elite" doesn't really mean anything... Which programs are elite and why should LSU be compared to them after last season? Also, why shouldn't we be compared to them because of this year?
i will hold off judgement till after a normal year. I am worried about some of the guys we are offering though. I could care less what the ranking is, its the lack of other big offers that bothers me.
I see you are a dipsh!t too. UGA played the game of their existence last year. No team, including USC, could have won that game. UGA put their whole season in that game last year. But last night was for the SECC. LSU looked liked a bunch of little girls scared to play ball. How can you not get up for a championship game? I'll tell you, a phucking idiot of a coach, that's how.
As long as Miles coaches LSU will be medicore or just above, top 25 but at the bottom with teams like North Carolina State, or Northwestern. At least with Saban, there was plenty of National attention from most national talk shows and columnists throughout the country and for right reason is that Saban produced winners. Two SEC titles and 1 NC is outstanding and put us as an legitmate top 5-7 program. I don't have faith in Miles to keep up that trend.
Do I play or coach??? don't give me that spin that fans can destroy programs. iF miles can't take a little pressure, than he needs to get off the porch. We have been playing like crap most of the year and got lucky in a few games. It obviously caught up with this last night. This team lacks focus and discipline and pretty much plays with no killer instinct which is right in line with the head coach.
