Tigerkid, it's good to be positive, but try to keep some realism. Sat, Sep 02 UL-Lafayette- W (We've always handled the Cajuns) Sat, Sep 09 Arizona- W (Arizona's talent isn't quite up to LSU's... yet) Sat, Sep 16 TBA Sat, Sep 23 Tulane- W (Starting this rivalry again will be a morale booster) Sat, Sep 30 Mississippi State- W (MSU looked decent at the beginning of last year, but looking at them now, they look bad.) Sat, Oct 07 Florida- L (Leak's final run.) Sat, Oct 14 Kentucky- W (The new Vanderbilt) Sat, Oct 21 Auburn-L (Two words: Kenny Irons.) Sat, Nov 04 Tennessee- W (If they continue on the same track as this year, we could be okay. They are hampered with an unspectacular QB and defense.) Sat, Nov 11 Alabama- W (Croyle will be gone and the offense won't be able to move again.) Sat, Nov 18 Ole Miss- W (Still bad. Their coach seems to be a jerk to his players anyway.) Sat, Nov 25 Arkansas-L (Once again, Arkansas's young team held LSU and Georgia pretty well. The 'Boot' way take a trip northward.) 8-3 looks to be next year's final outcome. Hopefully it'll be better, but that's how it's looking.
Miles had his way with OU for the most part at OSU. I guess I'm just hoping for the same with Florida or Auburn. I just want to play a really good team and beat them every year no matter what. Remember this though.... I'm still buzzing, pissed, depressed, but still extremely proud of my favorite team in the world, LSU. Just think, 10 years ago we were overjoyed to be ranked. We had losing records and now we are a powerhouse. But it doesn't matter. We still have the best school in world to root for. Tried and true for LSU.
Life is too short to be such a loser. I had a blast tonight. Cooked a gumbo, listened to good music, laughed with a bunch of friends... We lost. So phucking what? How is my life affected? Not in the least. You on the other hand have too much invested into this football team so your pitiful exitence has been diminished by the poor performance of a group of 18-22 year olds who don't even know who you are? Don't you see how pathetic that is?
