    during the Murrow McCarthy stuff. Can someone give me an opinion on what the political climate was like and if it’s in any way similar to what we are experiencing now?

    My dad is 83 and was a sheriffs deputy back then ill ask him over a couple if beers and report back.

    It’s hard to compare, since people got “news” more or less once a day, and cross conversation was person to person, or maybe phone. Today the climate is fed by 24 news opinion, social media, and by plethora of unedited sources.
