You are right, fans don't have a direct say .... but the lack of fan support and ticket sales usually sends a loud message to the Athletic Department. That's the only avenue fans have to voice their displeasure. Now the real questions are: does the Athletic Department really care about this basketball program? How long do they let this program go without decent facilities? How long do they allow this program to have lack of fan support and ticket sales? Sooner or later this Athletic Department will see they are missing a golden opportunity...
Do you go to games or are you one of these out of town fans who have never seen this team play in person?
As difficult as the SEC is (look at the RPI and SOS ratings), second in the West ain't so bad for a bunch of freshmen.
I certainly hopes he takes the bait and comes on over. There's a guy on here called Ramah, and he would eat the fellow alive. Plus, there's plenty of others who aren't quite as civil as the folks at TigerRag.
