Football Picked Second in SEC West by Media

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Prior to the final day of Kickoff 2008, the Southeastern Conference media picked the LSU football team to finish second in the SEC Western Division behind Auburn (48-21). Additionally, eight Tigers were named to the media's first- or second All-SEC teams. Check back for details.

    They also picked Florida to win it all in 2008, and by a handy margin of votes.

    Excellent. We'll sneak up on em and whup dat azz again. Next year They'll pick Miss State to win the West.

    Considering we have no idea how QB play will be, and CB's are a question mark, that's fair.

    You think Florida's defensive questions have been answered? Auburn, to me, should not even be included in the discussion. Are they good? Sure. but where's the skins on the wall? Our QB issues are overstated as are Florida's lack of issues at that position. Miles has shown that he can "take his'n and beat your'n" and his team should be given the pre-season nod out of respect. But he hasn't garnered any yet.
    He'll just have to ram it down the collective medias' throat.
