What happened in North Carolina and Virginia or the majority of the southern ACC teams? Basketball seems to rule with them.

You've been to Pineville? It is a little different across the river. There use to be liquor stores at the foot of each bridge in Alexandria, so the people from Pineville could buy their beer on their way home from work.

People from West Monroe and the surrounding area are some of the best. Met one while on vacation a couple of years ago, and he gave me his card. I keep every card. After the storm, we needed a generator b/c the power was out. I called him and he lent me his with a plethora of gas jugs. Had my blazer loaded like a suicide bomber (peace, FBI). Even the sheriff's deputy guided me to his place to pick it up.

Maybe i am a little sensitive about it because i have heard people in person that honestly believe that.

I lived in Texas for 20 years and never once heard anyone from Houston say to a Dallas person they arent really Texans.

I love the State of Louisiana and even though i live in Cal. when someone asks me where i am from i always say Louisiana. Not the City i live in here because i will never be a Californian or a Texan .

Sorry for the soapbox and no problem. Didnt mean to go crazy but i felt strongly about it.

Got to hand it to North Louisiana, they have represented the state we'll in the pro athletes and musician department for sure. Hal Sutton, David Toms, Todd Walker, Terry Bradshaw, The whole Evangel Crew--Chase Pittman, the booty's (for what it's worth ha),infamous Brock Berlin,Karl Malone, Stromile Swift, that crazy guy Scott Stapp from Creed, Kix Brooks (from Brooks and Dunn), and last but not least don't forget about the probable most famous bank robbers ever getting totally destroyed on N. Louisiana Soil-How bout that Louisiana justice! ( Bonny and Clyde)

I think Scott Stapp is from Orlando, but Creed did play alot of shows in Shreveport before they were really big.

Football is the sports equivalent of slavery and basketball is the sports equivalent of abolitionists! Ahhh, someone let all the football players know so they aren't held in this horrible bondage anymore.
