BengalB, you have no idea how bereft seafood this part of the country is. I would love to do crab claws. Cant get em. Boil some shrimp. Can't get em fresh so what's the point. Surely you jest about getting crawfish here at this time of year! Fresh crabmeat? What is that? However, I can get frozen and damn I would love some crabmeat au gratin! Nice call. Gonna do the boudin balls and I have some cracklin in the freezer waiting to be rendered. Another good call. Thanks!

I knew ya’ll wouldn’t let me down. I’m thinking I will do a gumbo, boudin balls, cracklin for snacking, crabmeat au gratin, and Batty’s crawfish Boulettes. I’m getting hungry! I only wish I could get some Abita beer here. I also would have loved to get a King Cake, but to get one overnighted, plus the cost of the cake, it was gonna be about $75.00. I’ll wait on that one.

Thanks for the help guys. I’m fired up for the party now!

Oh, Steve, are you kidding me? My wife will be there!

tell me about it. when i moved up here to marry greenie, i thought i would have my family over and make a nice crab meat au gratin for the appetizer for dinner. after three days of searching, it dawned on me i could not just run to the neighborhood seafood market and get whatever i wanted. ive always told greenie he is damned lucky i didnt think of that before i said i would marry him and move back.

i know a place you can get it here. and okc is a lot closer than br.
