Those of you nervous about this game don't be. The only bad game our defense had all year was when Jack Hunt didn't play in the Florida game. Our defense will totally shut down their offense, no one else has been able to do anything, Ark isn't any better than anyone else. Thier qb is streaky and less than average at best. Last years game: It was a fluke totally. We don't have injured starters not playing this year and the D hasn't given up big plays like that all year, last minute plays. We will eat the hogs for lunch Friday, it will be a thanksgiving feast, NC= No Contest......... Take it to the bank, forget about it..................... Maybe this will be the one game our offense comes alive... Next week I'll say I told you so...... Happy Thanksgiving cause we're eating those Hogs on Friday...
Well I'm still worried, because they are a good team and we have to respect that. I think we definitely, as fans, need to bring our "A" game when we go to the stadium, and not that sorry ass effort we put out against florida.
The X factor is still our dominating defense. Even if we struggle offensively, the defense will shut down Arkansas. I don't think our offense will struggle however, playing against a very average defense in Arkansas. It's payback time. It will be an easy 3 touchdown victory. Saban will not allow his players to look past Arkansas.
We blow up Shawn Andrews and Jason Peters and knock the crap out of Matt Jones repeatedly! Matt Jones, then flips off Nutt, takes off his helmet and leaves the stadium. The Tigers roll 31-3.
And LSU won't be up for this one. SEC Championship and last year's nightmare ... 365 days of suffering ingrained in their souls ... Gimme a break. I pity the Hogs! I really do. Hell hath no greater fury ... than a wounded Tiger.
I wish that I could share your confidence. We do have a fine defense and probably the best since I've been a fan. I'm just so snake bitten from the past that I've been unable to really let geaux. That OM game brought flashback of the UF game and that damn floater over the middle to the back out of the backfield just kills us every time.
Exactly. The only people who need to focus are the players and coaches. Let's not take things so seriously that we believe what we say here has the slightest effect on what happens this Friday.
I am one of those people that think there is nothing wrong with looking at the BCS and seeing what needs to happen for us, but I'm also concerned about the attitude of the fans. From what I'm hearing so far, this sounds like a group that is taking this game for granted and may start getting annoyed if LSU were to struggle early instead of being loud no matter what like the Georiga game. I don't want to see the fans booing or something stupid like that if LSU doesn't come out and shut Arkansas down right away in the 1st quarter.
I'm worried the fans have the same attitude we had before the Florida game. Everyone was out of it. Everyone was looking ahead. There's no SEC team that will hand you a victory. Especially no Arkansas! There was a lot of trash talking for the Ole Miss game. They (Ole Miss team and fans) were really hiped up for the game. They gave us a big welcome when we came into town. Well, this Friday, we're in our house. It's time to get fired up. Screw Thanksgiving. Screw the BCS. It's time to whip some Arky %$&*!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!
