    Three starts and the offense isn't perfect.
    Record 3-0, Score 135-7, no fumbles, no interceptions vs two of the top rated defenses in college football and that is negative. What will happen if we ever lose a game? Will our quarterbacks be booed off the field. The better we play the higher the expectations.
    I can't remember a time when we were more talented. We have potential All SEC players sitting the bench waiting their turn and the black clouds persist. Enjoy the moment.

    I wouldn't say Flynn has been "great". I think he's been "good", but his GeauxTuscaloosa Quarterback Productivity Index (TM) is pretty much in the middle of the pack of the SEC right now. Then again, he's played against tougher competition.

    The GeauxTuscaloosa Quarterback Productivity Index (TM) is calculated using the following formula:

    GTQBPI = (yards passing + 20*touchdown passes - 30*interceptions + yards rushing + 20*rushing touchdowns)/(number of pass attempts + number of rushing attempts)

    It may be true, but it's unnecessary. Why even be concerned with it in a 48-7 WIN.

    Look, most anything on any team an improve. The problem I have with the TG post is it was made as we were completing a 48 - 7 crushing of the #9 rated team (and still picked to win the ACC) in the country. Now, if you want to reflect on the game a while and come up with some constructive advise, good. But to have a negative post like the one that started this thread within minutes of a great LSU win is not something that makes me think a poster is a true fan - if he can't celebrate a big win for even a few hours, what is the point of watching and being a fan?

    But he's not bashing another poster, unlike others in this thread. Posters with a dissenting view are too often attacked by others. Same thing is happening in the Miles to Michigan thread.

    I think this, in part, is why the postings seems to be way down from when I first joined. Pretty soon, won't be many posters left to have a good conversation with.

    It just isn't necessary to point this out. This is his third start, first in Tiger Stadium. Should we bash the freshman qb for VaTech for one hopping his first pass? These things happen. We should pretty much expect some shakiness and easy mistakes. That he overcame them and successfully lead the offense far overshadows any shortcomings he showed Saturday.

    If you are going to point that Flynn didn't complete 100% of his passes, you might as well criticize Manning, Namath, and Montana. It is ridiculous.

    Glass half full or half empty. That's all it is. I think the glass is full enough to beat MT and the rest of the teams on our schedule. That's all that matters.
