  1. It would be completely unreasonable for any Tiger fan to ask for better play from Flynn thus far. He is a tremendous field general, and simply exudes confidence. I watched the re-air of the game this morning (I was at it, so I couldn't see him closely), and one thing I took away from that is that Flynn is simply unflappable. When you're leader is that confident, the rest of the team will follow suit. He is a great athlete, an even better leader, and would start at just about any other SEC school.

To complain about a few throws being off the mark is simply asinine. One of the greatest offensive performances in LSU history and some still want to complain? Sound like spoiled brats.

  2. No one has anything to complain about from the performance last night, including me. Playcalling was much better and again, the defense is simply the best.....I thought the 2003 defense late in the year was the best LSU had ever had. But after 2 games, this version of the D is the best I have ever seen out of LSU.

The complete performance last night was one of the best I have ever seen out of the Tigers. So, I for one am happy.
  3. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE THIS STUPID...PAY YOUR $19.95 OR STFU
  4. PERIOD!!! You are top notch reb!!!
  5. I'm not going to resort to name-calling, not my style and you've been a good poster; however, I will point out that the same can be said about Peyton Manning too, since he was18 of 30 on route to wiping his azz with Saints' jerseys in a 41-10 route. :nope: :( :dis:

  6. Nah, 7 carries per game seems to be enough. Just shy of 130 yds, 2 TDs, and fresh legs. :thumb:

  7. Um, I don't think I'll be using Reb's restroom.

Flynn knows what he's doing. He's very steady and confident back there. He'll develop a little better touch but some of his missed passes could have been caught. He just had a little too much pace on the ball, much like Jamarcus, and the receiver didn't anticipate it.

Now, Grit, go worry about something legitimate, like how to get those stains out of rebs bathroom.

  8. I'm not worried about Matt. It was probably the biggest game he has played in. I would say this was more pressure than the Miami Peach Bowl.

Those sailing passes were early in the game. A few of them sailed on him but on 3rd down he was money. Also there was the bad pitch to Hester on the 1st drive. But all in all, he made no turnovers, was money on 3rd down, and made good decisions and was relaxed. He sailed a few balls on the 1st and 2nd possession and that's it. He was a little excited and had to get in the groove. I don't see this as a problem as the excitement and nerves will be controlled more as he gets more and more experience.

The TD run was awesome by him, great vision and knew exactly where and when to cut back. The fake handoff to either Hester or Williams and boot legged it around the left, was a great play.

  9. I watched the replay yesterday and paid attention to the body language of the players. They trust Flynn, and he trusts himself. If he threw a bad pass, he shrugged it off and got back to business.

We have a competent field general back there, and RP is looking every bit as fabulous as we always hoped and expected.
