His first few passes he released the ball too high and it took off on him. A couple of times, his passes were a little "off," because he threw away from the defenders. But he made the adjustments he had to make and he wasn't intercepted. AND he led the Tigers to a 27-4 lead. I'd say he had a good game, particularly being only his third start and the offense opening up its playbook some.
Even Peyton Manning is human. Seriously, dude, get over yourself. There is no such thing as a perfect quarterback. Quit being a troll and go away.
Obviously you dont, because he did have some bad passes. Im sure it will get better as the season goes on. Im not calling for the backup QB to start, like many of you retards were last year. I ****ing realize everybody is human, but there were bad passes that shouldnt have been bad.
ARE YOU REALLY A TIGER FAN? Hell!!! I've gone to take a piss and missed the toilet more than MF missed his recievers.......................:geauxtige
Flynn has made 2 mistakes so far this season. He almost threw a pick 6, and he didn't fight for an extra yard to give us the first down vs VT. The almost a pick 6, well the key there is almost. There was no interception. And as for not fighting for the yard, we didn't need it - not necessary to risk injury, so no big deal. Other than that, Flynn has been a great leader, game manager & terrific decision maker. I hate the Matt Mauck comparisons because Mauck did make plenty of mistakes, where as Flynn is a lot more talented & doesn't make near as many. Perrilloux really looked good last night too.
Hell TG, you are aware the Flynn is 3-0 as a starter and they have all been blow out wins. They have been under two different OC's and systems. Two (Miami and VT) were against very highly rated defenses. One (Miami) was against a ranked team in a post season bowl. One (MSU) was a season opener, on the road, against an SEC West team, in the rain and the first game for the team under a new OC. One (VT) was the home opener in Death Valley, against the 9th ranked team in the country that was also one of the top 5 rated defenses in the country. After last night's game, LSU is unquestionably one of the top two teams (in my opinion, the number 1, but I don't have a vote) in the country, you open up the post game posting talking about Flynn making bad passes. What game did you watch last night - I did not see Flynn make any stupid mistakes, he held the ball when he had to, passed out of bounds when he needed to, ran well when called on - or saw the chance for a nice yardage pickup, supported RP when he went in, let the receivers know when a missed pass was his fault. The team showed him the respect it should show a leader - both on the field and off. I dare say most SEC teams would love to have Flynn line up under center for them today. If this is how you react when we beat the no. 9 team - what are you going to do when we have a bad night and a close one???
Flynn played very well last night. He showed good arm strength and accuracy on some deep crosses and managed the game well. He missed on a few, but as long as he's not doing that in the middle of the field, it shouldn't be a problem. I'd still like to see him throw something over the top, but I don't have near the trepidation that I did a week ago. Part of that is also how well LaFell looked. I still think Perrilloux is going to be something special, but I am pretty happy with Flynn right now. I love that the coaches seem willing to use both QBs throughout the game. Crowton did a masterful job setting up Perrilloux's first TD throw. PS - I still think Keiland Williams needs more touches.
OK as Okie said I was really ready to respond to this thread but I think it has been quite taken care of! So I ditto what has been said! <----Little miss' face when she saw flynn play! Can you argue??? And I believe that reb probably has has a lot of practice pissing!:hihi: That was a funny f'ing post!!!
