That has nothing to do with Obama, Medicaid was implemented way before him.
Get a grip, your on vacation.

My point is that this is the way the government runs things.

I agree with that, but making Obama the culprit is ridiculous. Salty has a great point in the fact that indirectly he has paid for it already.

Obama is the one who's staking his entire presidency on health care reform. He's not being prudent enough to take the time to do it right. He's using the issue as a springboard to accomplish other statist goals. I don't trust him.

what a surprise you dont trust him, but you trusted his predecessor?
The Baucus version of the bill was pretty good, you should take sometime to read it.

i see "flu shots inside" signs at just about every walgreens, rite-aid, cvs, alberstons and even wal-mart.

btw, i got a flu shot 2 years ago and 4 days later i was as sick as i've ever been in my life with 'flu-like symptoms'. maybe i just had bad luck, not sure but no more flu shots for me.

the standard flu vaccine (intramuscular shot) is inactivated/killed and in the US even moreso because it is a subunit vaccine. you cannot get the flu from this.

if you did not get a "flu shot" but the live-attenuated vaccine/nasal spray then it is possible.

his symptoms showed up only 4 days after the vaccination, so probably the immune response against the vaccine wasn't far enough along to prevent infection yet.

and is this thread about season flu vaccine or H1N1 vaccine? H1N1 is rolling out slowly, but season flu vaccine should be readily available.

might have to call around to multiple dr offices to see if any have supply available for private insurance patients. have they tried lsuhsc? or, as someone has suggested, try the pharmacies.

but, hopefully it's a good sign that people are getting vaccinated!
