UGA should want to play LSU. The Tigers have nothing to prove there. I want another crack at the Gators but I suspect they've shot their wad.
no offense to southlink but i think the gators take the bulldogs this saturday. georgia offense has not been getting it done with all the injuries. if georgia was healthy i might feel different. i dont know what this does to the east but i see it happenning. geaux tigers
Well as far as SOS goes, whenever two teams play who both play LSU then the SOS would be exactly the same no matter who wins cause it is based on your opponents record. Now Auburn or UGA losing to an east team we don't play would hurt our SOS slightly. But with UGA winning they stay higher in the rankings therefore giving us more quality win points. While I think UGA is the best team in the East, beating a team like them would be tough to do twice in a year but you do what you got to do to win championships.
I too want another shot at UF and leak. I also believe that LSU would be pumped even more if they made it to the SECCG and a shot at the NC is in the balance. Like UT in 2001. I agree with the post about UGA. Remember, UT had beaten us earlier in the season, and I believe they thought we would be a given and especially being up and Davey knocked out of the game. Enter Matt and we geaux to the Sugar bowl. If we can get there I hope its UF just to put it on them and not let up. If we get there..Fisher..Leave no doubt.
ChuckE I agree with you, but I don't think the team would underestimate either opponent. Florida because we lost to them, and Georgia because of all the respect they are getting nationally, and because we didn't exactly dominate them, they were in it til' the end. I'd like to play Georgia if they win out, cause they'll be third in the BCS and that would help us out if we beat them. Of course we both need to win all our remaining games to get there.
