Ha, I was up WAY too late last night watching my NY Mets get screwed. As I do with LSU, I stay on the message boards and Twitter and don't realize the time. It was about 2:30 am ET when I finally went to bed!

I was up way, way past my normal bedtime watching the Presidents Cup final matches. It was worth it. I think I turned the TV off at 2AM.

BeckWith will be playing on Sundays. Along with Jones. You are high if you think otherwise.

Then Steele is the wrong guy. All he did was rename what Chavis already brought here.

Jones is much faster than Beckwith. Beckwith is pretty slow but one of the best run stuffers in the SEC. Steele would have a simple fix for this considering we already play with 4 DB's in the back.

All I am saying is that when it is clear in the second half teams figure out how slow our LB's are, we could rotate to a 4-2-5 and put some better coverage on the field. Or even a 3-4 considering Dline pressure evaporates in the 2nd half.

Thats the other point. It is hard enough for world class DB's to cover WR's all day. LB's wont be any better in that regard.

You mean how slow Beckwith is, Jones is fast, the others play sparingly because we play more nickel than anything. you KB's agent or something? You seem to be overlooking obvious flaws in his game.

Im not overlooking his flaws. I am understanding that he is our best run stuffer and I have witnessed with my own eyes that outside of him and Jones, we don't have LB's that are SEC ready.

That is why it is critical we have a DC that doesnt just run a scheme because it works most of the time. He needs to be able to put people on the field that hide our weak points.

Having a close to 250 lb MLB run the field with 4.7 is terrible in any situation.

That is just not something you can change mid season.

It would be better if they put in a position to hover mid field and use other personnel to cover.

When he lays the wood he doesn't budge, looks like the opponent is running into a wall. Much different than Hunt last year.
