Last year I pulled for LSU against bama even though it would have helped AU, we had our game with LSU and you won. The only time I will not root for LSU is when AU and LSU play head to head. Too much respect here to wish misfortune on you to gain an "edge". My boy reminded me a little about sportsmanship this summer. While playing second base he High-Fived a kid from the other team who hit a stand-up double. My kid loves to win (different than hating to lose), but still appreciates the worthy efforts of his competitors. I applaud how your team conducts itself on and off the field, it would be hypocrisy to root against you.
Very well put. I wasnt trying to imply the question on the personal level. When I said "you" I meant as a AU football fan. Meaning I would think that AU would rather play a confident if not OVER confident Florida team, rather then one that just got their taints handed to them and feel like they are back into a corner. I will say though its fans like you that make me shameful of the feelings I sometimes harbor for Auburn.:thumb:
You are a fan that all fans of any sports should hold as an example. I really do hope to see Auburn go on to win, even though my signature's still bitter.
We'll maybe there not overlooking us so to speak but Somebody at least please explain to me why they have us as their homecoming game? Ever since middle school football everybody knows you schedule homecoming with a cupcake team. This alone should be motivation to them tigers for this "lack of respect" even if Floirda obviously doesn't consider us a "cupcake" still not the most respectful concept when you see us on their schedule as their (homecoming) game.o: :angryfire :helmet: :geauxtige
