Anyone who bitches about Tartt getting hit can simply remind Florida about Tartt having his hand on Dorsey's mask and twisting his head sideways. It happened just a few plays earlier when Dorsey broke through and pressures a throw away.

Proof that Florida fans are the dumbest people around. If anything, the refs were on Florida's side. Florida came into the game as the most penalized team in the SEC. Until the intentional grounding call on the last drive, Florida had 1 freakin penalty all game. They played perfect ball in the eye's of the refs. But we still won the game, so kiss my @ss Florida.

Actually, this was one of the best officiated games I've seen in a long time. For the most part, the refs let the kids play, and stayed out of the way. They really only called blatantly obvious penalties.
    • Highsmith's hit turned out to be clean, but at full speed in the stadium, it looked pretty bad.
    • Most of the calls against us were motion penalties (example: sent an O-lineman in motion once. :hihi: )
    • They let a LOT of contact go between DB's and WR's, only calling really obvious ones (like when Dickson got popped early down in the red zone)
    • Tebow's grounding
    • UF's offsides that we declined.
They really never made a call all game that made me scratch my head and wonder what they were thinking. I thought they did a really good job. Yeah you're gonna disagree with some calls, but we have the benefit of replay, and even still shots to judge off of that they don't.

These kind of threads get started on every board. So what if some Gator fan thinks there was some kind of conspiracy. He is a minority and doesn't speak for the Gator fanbase. It's possible the poster isn't even an adult. We have got some who feel we gave this game away just as LSU had some fans last year who felt they gave the game away to Florida. We made some mistakes at critcal times but that is football. We didn't give a damn thing away and neither did LSU last year in the Swamp. LSU made the plays and Miles made some calls that worked. Had they not worked, some of you may have been crying. I'm not taking up for the Gator poster who is in denial but he is like many of the fans that follow sports. Yeah we've got a few but so do you.

Yes, UF96NC is right, there are a few of those in every family. We used to call them black sheep.....:eek:ldskule:

Also correct in saying nobody gave away anything in the game. That's what made it such a classic SEC match.:eek:ldskule:

LSU tried to give it to you in the first half with the penalties, drops and missed FGs.

LSU did give it away last year. fumbling the snap is giving it away, fumbling punts and kickoffs is giving it away. has nothing to do with the opponent.

Penalties, drops, missed field goals are a part of football. Humans are playing the game and they don't always concentrate or they take their eye off the ball. I wish Brandon James had let that kick off go out of bounds but he tried to make a play and stepped out of bounds. I wish Moore hadn't fumbled. I wish Tebow hadn't thrown that interception that bounced off Ingrams head. Over the years UF has had their share of kickers who missed game tying or game winning field goals. Last year we had a kicker who made about 30% of his field goal attempts but he didn't lose a game. It's a team game and sometimes you play poorly and lose and sometimes you play almost perfect and lose. It doesn't matter if your best player is out of the game or if you are playing on the road. You play the game.

Absolutely. So are bad calls, bad weather, and injuries. It's part of the game and all teams get them. In the big picture, it all evens out.

People who get caught up with bad calls, no calls, turnovers, and such can get to be really annoying whiners. It's just a game with a ball that ain't round, guys. It bounces funny ways.

I think the 1, huge, crucial play that cost the game for Florida was the mid field fumble.

Florida had a 10 point lead, was 1st down and driving, and fumbled it away at midfield.
