We were face masked one time pretty flagrantly and it wasn't called either. Don't remember which one of our players it was but was right next to our bench. The interference was crazy, there was daylight between them.
I agree completely. The coach's challenge on the return was insane, since there was so little to be gained. And I really, REALLY didn't think it would be reversed. But it could have gone either way. I thought the officiating overall was quite good, since it didn't stick out to me as particularly bad. :hihi:
To say I was upset at this is an understatement. I'll promise you this...if we did not score on that final drive the internet would be lit up with Miles being an idiot for going for the 4th downs and challenging that play. Miles did a great job during the game...but I was close to killing him there.
If they're calling a bogus 'conspiracy', does anyone know what plays they're disputing? It can't be any of the 4th down conversions because replay verfied the spots accurate.
I bet they didn't have a problem when we scored on consecutive plays last year only to have both called back...and probably didn't have a problem with the ball being spotted incorrectly when JR fumbled. They probably also didn't mind when Tebow was stopped on fourth down only to have one ref come in late and call it a TD. Florida players decided before the game they were going to win or lose with no class. From their antics of stomping on the eye to the finger pointing, etc...they simply demonstrated they're jerks. Florida...you're not the best team in the country...and BTW...you weren't last year either!
EXactly! we would rather ANYONE win the East but Florida. I respect their team. Tebow is a gorrilla! :geauxtige
There was a face mask on Hester when he went in for the TD that wasn't called, of course it doesn't matter now. But, there were a lot of calls that went the Florida way and not ours......let'em talk!
What was up with that? Anybody know what that was about? I love the guy's new avatar with Tebow's hands on his face. Surely, he was not crying. :dis:
Yep, that's why he was hurt when getting up...had an obvious face mask while he was already down. The late hit was bull****, Tebow stopped running and started to jog to the sideline, of course we're going to hit him out...would they rather us just let him jog and then he see nobody's coming after him and dart for another 10 yards? There was a PI on us that was obvious that didn't get called in the 4th. And that last PI, which didn't matter, wasn't a PI. There were tons of bad calls but most of them seemed to be for Florida...so I am now taking this opportunity to formally say that: Florida only scored 24 points because of a conspiracy from the referees; without them LSU would have run up the score. How about dem' apples? :helmet:
