    Search sure, but I doubt many coaches were serious about talking to LSU in the middle of their respective football teams schedules in October. I don't believe Alleva put much effort in at all.

    I heard it suggested today that they just took the contract that was meant for Tom Herman, changed the name and the salary and gave it to Orgeron without checking the buyout.

    I don't know if that's true, but doesn't that sound just incompetent enough to be Joe Alleva??
