ah, i never noticed that thread. i love floundering. ive also started spearfishing a little but i am really, really terrible at it. i usually quit halfway through and go grab some crabs on the bottom.
I'm too much of a pussy to spearfish. With scuba gear at the rigs anyway. If you do that then you are a braver man than me. Anytime you want to go gigging flounder, holler at a playa. I've never gigged in Alabama, but I go on the MS coast quite often. I would like to run across one of those effin jubilees that they supposedly have relatively often on the Easter Shore of the Mobile Bay (Daphne area).

Is your great uncle Mr. Manci? I know you've been to Manci's in Daphne. LOTS of pictures of jubilees on the walls in there. Homeboy makes a killer Bloody Mary, too.
