actually "overkill" is one of my favorite songs ever.

edit: nevermind that was on "cargo" not "business as usual"

    KISS - Hotter Than Hell

I was 10. I broke my buddies' brother's album. Had to replace it. Cost me 3 grass cutting jobs.

First I bought for myself was RUSH - 2112.

The first one I specifically recall purchasing was Diana by Paul Anka. That would have been in 1957. I am not sure if that was the first one I ever bought.

Good lord...that song! The last band I was in used to do this song with a chick who worked next to where we practiced. She strolls in one day and wants to sing then asks if we knew Paradise. We werent into Meat Loaf but figure the song out from a cassette and gave it a couple run throughs. Anyway, she gets up and starts to sing the girls parts and OMG, she has some incredible pipes. We were blown away and she had the mojo going with our lead singer too so we figured to try this at a live gig.

We run through a couple sets, its getting late and she is anxious to sing. Unfortunately we weren't sure about doing this song but she's going crazy and its getting late so what the hey. She's dressed to kill, no bra...super tight see through pants. Nothing left to the imagination. We kick into the song and were jammin it pretty good and she sounds great. Then the bridge part comes up after the "we gonna go all the way tonight" stuff and she's all over the lead singer. This was clothed porno and X rated. She is all tongues and hands baby. We were freakin, the lead singer is getting a damn woody and the crowd is going nuts, especially the girls! This song was certifiable chick magnet back then. Only rivaled by Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin by Journey. Needless to say this turned into a staple number for us. Always a crowd pleaser regardless of the crowd.

Not the very first but one of the first ten or so was Joe Cocker, "Mad dogs and Englishmen" which just became a re-purchase. :)

I can only imagine....this piano bar in Columbus does it nightly and pulls a couple on stage to sing it with them around 1 or 1:30 in the morning...after you're good and liquored up and have been singin' with them all night in the crowd.Of corse they interject little inuendos/comments too which is hysterical....Even in that scenario, the crowd goes nuts....they just love to watch it cuz everyone knows it and knows how it plays out!

See Tirk...suuume people like GOOD music!!!
