I just made a cd with that song on it. I listen to that one more than any of the other 65 songs on the cd. I LOVE that song.
I was never into buying records. My 3 sisters took care of that. When I was in college (post Military) I bought the album Big Bambu by Cheech and Chong (listened with headphones in a drug induced semi coma) and I wore out the Jim Croce 8-track Photographs and Memories in my VW bug.
First tape I bought was Hangin Tough by New Kids on the Block (no shame in my game to admit that was also my first concert...and yes, I'll be at the reunion tour) First CD I bought was En Vogue
I am the counter-SabanFan with about 900 records and 400 CD's. Which now take up too much space, since I have gone digital. I know what we did in the Pentagon Barracks around '73. We made the Mother of All Spliffs. There were about three lids in it and it was beautiful. Pot was $10 an ounce and we thought it was expensive. We made cardboard rocket fins for it and left it standing on end in Fred-From-Chicago's room for a couple of days until we got a big party together and fired it up. It ran like a sonofabitch and fell apart about halfway through, but we all felt like Rastamen sitting in great clouds of white smoke.
First album i bought was KISS rock and roll over...but it was with my parents money. first one i bought with money i "earned" from a real job...KISS Unmasked. I give you 1 guess who my favorite band is.
