The one program that will add the most east coast viewers is Notre Dame. No one really cares about Rutgers FB and Syracuse is no East Coast tv magnet. With the ncaa okaying a 12th regular season game, it's only a matter of time before ND joins the big ten. Sure they get to go bcs bowling with a 9-2 record, but Davie went bcs bowling and look what happened to them. ND can keep their rivalries with Purdue, Michigan, and Michigan State and with USC, Army, Navy, and rotate in Pitt, BC, BYU, and Air Force.

Heck scheduling army and navy every year with the chances of playing Indiana, Illinois, and at least another big ten team having a down year they actually have the same type of schedule they have now and make trips to the East and West coast regularly.

Notre Dame ain't ever coming to the Big Ten.... unless they have about 20 losing seasons in a row.... so forget about 'em... time to move on.

    oh, plus..... screw 'em.

Championship games are there to determine a Champion.

If the team favored losses, it's their damn fault for not being UP for the game. Not the game itself.

We sound like Auburn fans if we want to blame the CG in itself

Name one team that Ohio State beat this year with a W-L record better than 7-4 ?

The Big Ten would rather rely upon polls like the Sagarin where the Big Ten can exploit their own sense of self-importance.

Prior to the SEC CG, Sagarin had 7 Big Ten teams ranked higher than Georgia at a 9-2 record. (included one 8-3 team and four 7-4 teams)

    but.. but... but....

Playing a schedule loaded with 7-4 and 6-5 teams is much more difficult than playing five or six 8/9/10 win teams and a few teams with a losing record!!!

Winning the SEC championship is quite an accomplishment. In many years (not this one) I would argue it is more menaingful than winning the national championship.

    Congrats by the way Chip!

    Thanks...

An LSU-Georgia matchup was what I anticipated all along.

The two best teams in the conference.

Exactly! Untile there is a TRUE playoof - what a bunch of BS! Come on - the ACC "Champioshipp" features a tem who did win, but was not ranked! This made me realize just how crooked the BSS is-

What's with ND getting the set-up they have? Does anyone know anyone who has graduated from there?

I am haopier we're matched with Miami - much stronger team than WVA IMO

Most of the time, your thought process is pretty good. This is not one of those times.

"The Big Ten would rather rely upon polls like the Sagarin where they can exploit......."

Is that the homer statement of the year, or what....? We play football just like you do... how many polls do you own? None? Wow, us either. You make it sound like you've had a championship game forever and the Big Ten just controls some media franchise.
We play the game just like you.... and the media does their thing... sometimes it favors the SEC, sometimes the ACC, sometimes the Big Ten.

So... this year some poll had a few more Big Ten teams ranked... big deal.

THERE MUST BE A CONSPIRACY!!!!
