i am sure enough money will get anything delivered anywhere. morimoto's place is nobu, in new york, which unfortunately i havent been to either, but my friends report was pretty tasty a few months ago.

anyways, i am pretty suprised by the first IC battle. america 1, japan 0.

I missed the end. How did the judges react to the trout ice cream?

they made some polite comments about it, saying it worked well with the bananas or whatever, and that the trout taste was subtle. but maybe it was the reason they scored flay higher in the taste department.

and batali wins match no. 2!

    america 2, japan 0.

no way puck brings home the sweep and defeats morimoto.

tonights match was batali vs morimoto, the ingredient was "spiny lobster"

    batali won.

the final match will be wolfgang puck vs morimoto. since flay already knocked off sakai, america leads 2-0, and is counting on puck to finish the sweep. morimot is the only iron chef that has two matches in the the first set of series.
