First flounder of the year for me

Been waiting on a night for the wind tide and time to all line up and finally did tonight. Got in the water right after dark and waded around for 2 hours. Only got 6 but they are big. Smallest one is 16 inches for reference.....

 

now you need some blue crab meat, a hot ass skillet and and your in business

 

And me to help eat it. Stuffed flounder is one of my favorites

 

You can boil flounder and it's still one of the best eats.

ok jval, your off the sofa and back in bed but it'll take more than half a dozen flounder for panties to fall. At least now we're moving in the right direction.

It's a good thing you aren't a marriage counselor. You would be standing on the street corner with a cup in your hand.

 

There's some backstory to it. One day like 2-3 years ago maybe 4 I don't know it was terrible weather blowing like crazy rough and raining. The wife decided she wanted a grilled redfish for supper that night and I didn't have any in the freezer but didn't really consider going with the weather. She asked if I was going fishing and I said no the weather is terrible. She said something like when your woman wants a redfish be a man a go catch her one. So I went to a spot I could get out of the weather a little and got 2 slot reds in the first 3 casts and headed home. Told that story on here and tiga has eluded back to it numerous times.

 

CO thinks grabbing a can of tuna off a shelf in the dee part meant store is catching fish.
