Yes we have. However last year one of the favorites to replace Brady was Tom Crean the Marquette University Baskeball Coach. Then it was learned that more players had left Marquette than LSU.
Dawkins would make a good candidate. Since he has no record he is beyond criticism.

You've got to be kidding me. If you think there is no problem with john Brady, then you're driveway don't reach the street. Come on Ang, you must have a shrine of all LSU coaches and kneel before it everyday. Let me guess, Smoke must be the second coming of Whitey Herzog. Have you not been watching men's b-ball the last few years. Year in and year out, LSU is the worst team in the SEC when in comes to turning the ball over. That reflects lack of discipline. Plus LSU can't shoot a free throw to save their lives. You'd think Brady would work on that or at least get some guys that can shoot from the stripe. And to add on top of that, he can't keep nobody. If only a few had left, that wouldn't be a big deal. I don't know the exact number, but quite a bit more than a few have left. So Ang, turn on the tube this year and you'll see for yourself. And Ang, don't forget to blow out the candles before you go to bed. Nighty, Nite!

Please, let me live in the cocoon that football season provides for the next couple of weeks before having to deal with Mr. Brady all the way thru another 10-15 guys who transfer, first-round postseason tourney blowout loss kind of season.

Thank you, Baghdad Bob. Son, are you paying attention at all? Brady's attrition rate is something like 20 percent. LSU will NEVER have a mature team with that kind of attrition.

Also, if Brady can't find quality PT for EVERY player on the bench in meaningless exhibition games, then those players can forget playing in a regular season game, and I think Gransberry is actually smart for trying to do something now. Given Brady's track record, only 7 or 8 guys will get any appreciable PT.

I'm guessing Gransberry won't be the only guy to go this year, so we can look forward to yet another 'we're a young team' excuse not only this season, but every season that the Grimace is LSU's coach.

Blaming attrition on probation is really a reach too. We weren't on probation last year or the year before, but we still have guys leave for one reason or another. I live in ACC-land where competition is FIERCE, but not even at Clemson are guys jumping ship like they do in BR.

It's just a big old bright red herring. The only departure I regret is Brandon Bass. We've got a full roster of talent on the floor for the Tigers. That players leaving crap is just that. Crap. Gransberry? Who the hell cares.

You're not looking at the whole picture, It's only one marginal player but the season hasn't started. In the past few years how many players a year have left? Yes there is a problem, we have not been out of the first round of big dance in a few years. LSU has recruited great players in the last few years, but is the pitch come to LSU and you'll start? Of course thats not the pitch but is someone saying, hey Ross if you work hard you may start but I know for sure you can provide a hell of a punch off the bench! Maybe that could solve one minor problem, playing the hell out of five people and having them run out of gas at the end of the game. But maybe LSU's KG won't leave and maybe we will go to the final four and none of this will matter.

Well, this is pretty much what I was thinking about the Brady issue. It just seems there's always problems with consistency and players leaving. I've always heard of Brady being an arse but I don't seem him getting the axe for it. I'm an LSU fan, not a basketball fan, if that makes since. So, I won't question his coaching. I still don't understand that bonus thing with basketball....
