Firing Miles would be both dumb and unprecedented

You're not telling us anything we don't already know.

I'm having trouble believing this. Miles has been here 10 years and I don't know a single person that's ever had this type of interaction with him. There's no way he could hide this type of character flaw from the thousands of people he's interacted with in 10 years, if he was really this type of person. Maybe he overheard somebody on the staff ridiculing his coaching abilities and he took it out on all of you.

Like I've said for previous articles, I put headers so you can know that I'm getting at and skip around. I'm looking for something that would be similar to firing a guy like Miles in this situation and at least in the SEC in the last 20 years, I can't find anything of the sort.

Of course I also compared to Mac (36 years ago), which a lot of people are doing, but that comparison falls short as well.

It would show that things have regressed to the point where even in what should be an up year we have what used to be Miles' worst year. Like I talked about with Houston Nutt at Arkansas, I don't think we'd have to then wait for 5-7 to happen to make a coaching change.

The only way to clean the infection is debride the wound. Other wise the leg or other extremity rots and you loose the whole thing. He'll look at out recruits now many more of them are looking for their back up plans. This needs to be done this year.

Oh yeah recruits love coaching turnover. Let's say you're a defensive player being recruited by Orgeron. Are you going to be more likely to commit to LSU if he suddenly doesn't have a job pending what the new guy wants to do?

It's not like we're talking about Harbaugh taking over a Michigan team after a losing year for a losing coach. Not that we have a coach like that available anyway.

I don't think we have an infection. I think we have a very talented team that's still a little rough around the edges. I guess they screwed up by losing two in November instead of September.
