Well, lsu-i-like outed himself a couple of posts down, but there are several others like Shane or Izzy would might rather "be right about Miles" than win out this year.
Even if LSU wins out those of us who are critical of Miles coaching are right. I would rather be wrong and beat Bama even if Les is so stubborn that he would rather lose than not do it the Bo Schembechler way. I don't think most of us want Miles fired, not even Shane. Maybe Izzy does, I don't know. But even you pumpers would have to know that to do anything the same way over and over is insane. We all make mistakes. Most of us will change something about the way we go about a task if the way we are doing it isn't working. Maybe you don't agree. Maybe you keep doing things the same way over and over at your job despite the results. But we wouldn't know about it. There are no CBS and ESPN cameras, play-by-play announcers and analysts in your classroom and there aren't 102,000 people watching live. What is so maddening is not that we lose to Bama. It would be a lot less frustrating and galling if Miles would come to the realization that he is not going to win without some changes and innovation on the offensive side of the ball. I hope I'm wrong. I hope we win out and Bama loses to Moo U tomorrow or to Auburn in 2 weeks. But I wouldn't bet on it.
Another whine about those who offer a little critical analysis of the problem. Would you like some cheese and crackers with your own glass of whine?
This thread proves the whole, participation trophy concept. SOme of us who are labeled as whiners/haters just recognize that this team "could" be better if certain changes would be made. Pointing that out obviously means we hate LSU, Miles, Gays, Blacks, etc.
No I agree there are absolutely things to be critical of, but there are good things to. The humiliating beat down on Auburn still gives me a warm feeling. Beating the Gayturds AGAIN with ANOTHER fake field goal - how low you think they feel. Its like we're Lucy and they're Charlie Brown. AND we drove Spurrier into retirement just like we did Bear. That's a pretty cool fun fact. But yea, totally agree with you that the Bama game was horrible. But I see it as a team effort; the coaches and the players sucked. Tomorrow will likely tell us how much leadership and character this team has.
You are such an intolerable sob. No one here hates LSU, no one here wants LSU to lose or fail or any of that nonsense. You are so stuck in the miserable losing seasons that you can't see what is right in front of your face so the fools gold looks shiny to you. I get it, The best run of LSU football in your and my lifetime. What you don't recognize is how un fucking believably close it is to being something you couldn't even imagine even when your unicorn tyedyed VW bus was rocking in the 60's. Literally, a gnats ass away from being something that people would talk about FOREVER! yet you are content with being just okay. Truly fucking pathetic.
I agree that Saban really took LSU to the elite level but DiNardo deserve some credit for helping. DiNardo had some good years and really focused on putting up a fence around Louisiana, keeping top in state talent.
Without a doubt, for a couple years he really had the momentum going and then it all fell apart on him. He deserves a lot of credit. I am not sure Saban comes here if not for the success that DiNardo was able to accomplish in his short tenure.
